Default SIM question

Does anybody know which Spanish SIM will work in a UK TMobile locked phone? It'll only be used for a couple of days so doesn't warrant the price of an unlock.

I doubt any Spanish SIM will work.

If it is only for a day or two why not use your T Mobile SIM, how many calls will you make in 2 days?

A locked phone is just that, no matter what country you travel to. You could call customer service and ask for it to be unlocked...normally this voids the phone warranty and a minor charge - but probably still cheaper than buying a sim-free phone / factory unlocked

You can buy an unlocked phone with a sim for around €20 usually with €10 or so credit

It's for my son who wants to use his smartphone but doesn't want to use his UK number so that business calls ruin his holiday. Some sims will do the job, for instance a movistar sim works in my O2 locked UK phone

Why not try looking on e bay for an unlock code for the phone? I unlocked a smart phone that way sent them IMEI number and who it was locked to and next day got code and info how to unlock phone cost £2.99.

By the way tried an Eroski Sim (they use Vodaphone as a provider) in a phone locked to UK Vodafone, it wouldn't work. Be better to get it unlocked then it will work with any
