Why? I didn't move to the rest of the world I moved here and despite the number of times I miss shops, estanco, etc. I'm getting used to my siesta time as are the millions of Spanish who've always had them. Siesta time or not, the bank is still going to be closed when I finish work and so are the courts.

lol, I don't remember France being much better. Everything closed when you wanted it and if there isn't a brasserie around you've no chance of finding a hot meal in the afternoon.
