Default Shredders/chippers

Hi..

Ive had to chop down a lot of trees (pines) on my land, and now I need to shred/chip the small branches and the bushy bits, does anyone know anyone who can do this or where I can hire a large shredder.. ive got a decent sized garden one, but its not big enough..

Im in Banyeres (between Ontinyent and Villena)

Hi Jen,

Viveros Baronia will do this for you or I think there are two hire shops which might have one. The first is just up from the (new) local police station and the second is just up from the garden centre on the 'posh' industrial estate.

why don't you get a fire licence & burn them. If you have lots of space then assume no near neighbours to upset either.

get an old metal dustbin, drill some holes in it & robertos yr tio! done.

free solution & a lot safer

erm... you havent seen the size of the pile..... its is huge 20' x 5' x 5' more or less......and still got the same again to chop, but the reason I want to shred them is to make a surface for my riding area.....(for the horses)

Most big diy stores like Bauhaus or Leroy Merlins have tool hire depots, or have a look in yellow pages for a local tool hire shop.

You don't actually need a licence in Valencia, we have specific 'burning days' when we can get rid of this sort of material.

Yes, look out for anouncements with the text "Huelga General", it means you can burn stuff, right ?
