Yes that´s right, being able to wash a dish (post the invention of the dishwasher) is far more important than a good education.

If you class cooking and cleaning as basic life skills, then YES! I would trade those for a uni education any day.

not so much nowaday's......going by all the kids we have had staying here this year & last

even if they are not expected to do so on a daily basis, they have all helped at home a bit (their home)

and some of them even have chores to earn pocket money, like my kids do:thumbsup:
