Default Shipping Electronics to Spain (from USA)

Would anyone know if US electronics - specifically large flat t.v. - be worth it. In other words is there compatibility and can I use the U.S. t.v. in Spain? Thanks for your feedback.

Is it left or right handed and does it have a spork socket?

Put another way, depends. What make/model?

First check and see if it is USA standard 120v - Europe is 220v- 240v . If so with need a voltage converter.
Also doubt if digital signal the same so will need another box to adapt.

Not really worth the hassle, can get great TVs with colour in Europe nw

Thats bockolocks, some tv’s are now world standard voltage so no power conversion needed - possibly. Most smart tv’s are ntsc/pal so analogue signalwise are also western europe and usa compatible [except the french of course] but the digital OTA tuners are worlds apart so a uk HD freeview is a world from whatever they use in murica, BUT a smart tv will often just use iptv or apps or a purchasable plugin module for its digital tuner or just buy the relevant tuner box.

Bottom line, if its a 2017/18 samsung smart tv utilising tizen its likely to be a goodun, power input needs checking though.

I'd expect it would cost you more to ship it than to just buy one over here. The latest and greatest is widely available, and lots of competition.

Quite possibly, but not significant if part of a container of course. Wonder if there are any health and safety or insurance gotchas if it burns the house down or simikar?

Not worth the bother, also think about warranties; you USA TV goes bang and you throw it away but if your new TV goes bang you get it fixed or replaced.
