I have a new house in the campo near Velez Malaga. The house was completed in February this year as agreed in the contract, unfortunately I still do not have an electricity supply. The developer has a contract with Sevillana to provide a supply to the plot (I have seen this and it is dated October 2005). Sevillana have repeatedly given installation dates all of which have come and gone, they have delivered pylons which still languish in pieces by the trackside slowly being engulfed by weeds.

Has anyone on this forum had a similar experience, how long might I wait ? I have heard that it is possible to hire a specialist contractor who could lay a cable to an existing Sevillana pylon, it would then be connected. Can anyone confirm that this is possible as I may put this option to the developer as he promised a supply by the contract date. I am of course taking this up with my lawyer however any helpfull information would be appreciated.
