Hi, not sure when you are here but before the Angustias Festival in September there is the 2nd Annual Costa Esuri Festival on the 23/24/25 of August. It will be held in the Golf Club carpark and there will be various activities, tournaments, music and good food ( which will include a paella for 500 people).

The Angustias Festival takes place on and around the 8th September which is the Bank Holiday. More details will become available nearer the date. Regards Bryony.

Sadly we are not out until 3rd of September but were there for the inaugural Esuri festival last year and hope it goes well again this year.
Please keep me posted on details for the Ayamonte festival.

21.00 Ferry arrives in Ayamonte with the Samouco Band & local Authorities aboard.
21.30 Raising of Flags in the Plaza Laguna Square for the start of the Festival
21.45 Parade to the fairground for the switching on of the Fair lights
22.00 Switching on of Fair lights
24.00 Opening of the Disco area
Thursday Sept 5th
10.00 Youth Trophy Virgen de las Angustias match between Canela and Ayamonte football clubs in Ayamonte football stadium.
12.00 Concert by Sambuco Band in Casino España in Paseo de la Ribera.
13.30 Opening of 56th National art exhibition in the Casa Grande “rostros de la Virgen de las Angustias”.
21.00 Tribute to Manuel Feu Perez with music from the Sambuco Band at the Statue of Music.
24.00 Live Music in the fairgrounds by Dynamic band
01.00 Performance by Nazaret Compaz in the Municipal Stand.
Friday Sept 6th
12.00 Day of the bicycle with various activities in the Prudencio Navarro Park.
17.00 Festival Kids Games, egg races, sack races etc all in the fairground.
19.30 Parade of Giants & Big Heads around the streets of Ayamonte starting from the town Hall.
24.00 Live Music in the fairgrounds by Dynamic band
Saturday Sept 7th
12.00 Concert by Sambuco Band in Casa Grande
12.00-19.00 Horses in the fairground
20.00 Gathering of people in squares around Ayamonte in preparation of the prade to the offering of flowers.
21.00 Offering of flowers to the Virgen de las Angustias on the steps of the Angustias Parish Church.
24.00 Live Music in the fairgrounds by Dynamic band
Sunday Sept 8th
10.00 Children’s Fishing competition on the Darsena in Ayamonte.
12.00 Home football match by Ayamonte FC as part of league.
12.00 Mass in Angustias Parish Church.
21.00 Procession of the Virgen de las Angustias through the streets of Ayamonte
23.30 Fireworks display as the procession passed through the Plaza de la Coronacion and Paseo de la Ribera.
24.00 Live Music in the fairgrounds by Dynamic band
Monday Sept 9th
13.30 Parade of two bands Ayamonte Municipal band and Samuco Band in the fairgrounds.
