Default scooter

Hi all, I am looking to buy a mobility scooter from the UK as they are cheaper there-unless anyone knows of a cheap one over here. So does anyone know of a reasonable carrier. It as to be reasonably priced otherwise it is not a viable exercise.
Gracias antemano.

Dont know where you are Barry, but using parcel carriers would be a nightmare cost wise. It will depend on how the scooter is packaged if you use a groupage carrier. I can use my contacts to get an accurate figure if you know how its packaged, but as a guestimate I'd say you may be looking in the region of at least £200 freight for a delivery, say to Barcelona if its cased. Dont forget they will have to collect and deliver on a tail lift vehicle. If its not cased then they may charge you on the loading meter of a trailer, as they wont be able to put anything on top of it

Hi Mitzyboy, I am in Denia, weight 84 pounds. Length 1 meter with47 cm, these scooters are meant to be transportable in a car boot. Any help would be appreciated.

Not the kind I thought you meant then, but still fairly heavy to be lifted out of a boot

In that case you have a van carrier very close to you up in the hills by San Antonio, pm me if you want the details ..... I have used him.

Try the local mobility shops, they may well have cheap second hand ones from the people going back to the UK
