Red face SCHOOLS IN AYAMONTE

I've just got back from a quick trip over to Esuri, we looked into schools and heard good things about Padre Jesus.
Does anyone have any advice on the other schools in Ayamonte?
Heard thee is a bi-lingual school just outside Huelva, we're hoping both our kids will go into Spanish school, but would like to know all our options.
Thanks
Gem

Hola Gem,
Welcome to the Spain forum!

I'm sure Sunshine Sue, olivia, and others will come along and provide you with local information on schooling. Have you tried to do a "search this thread" or "search this forum" with keywords "schools ayamonte"? The Costa Esuri-Ayamonte thread is long, and this may be one way of wading through all of it.

Meanwhile, I found this info from Andy regarding contact numbers of schools in the area. It's dated 2006, so hopefully numbers haven't changed. Here's the link:

Here on the British Expats forum, you will need to post at least 3 times in order to access the Private Mail (PM) facility (click on people's names, and a menu drops down).

Hope this helps a bit.

Carol

Hi Gem,

Have also posted in your other thread.

Our friends children go to Padre Jesus and are very happy there. The only problem is you do not always get the choice of school that you want.

you will usually find a couple of English speaking children in most schools in Ayamonte now. We just had a problem because of our sons age.
We have lived here 18mths and he is fluent in Spanish, so our Spanish neighbours have told us.

Your children will soon be running around the Laguna square chatting away to their Spanish/English friends.

Sue
