There's Astra North and Astra South and if you scroll down the page you'll find maps for both these satellites and which of the 'difficult' channels is covered, depending on your dish size

This one is better as it shows the weak area around Alicante.

I need a 1.9m in Valencia, but recently travelled about 80 miles north to Vinarós in Castellón and received all channels with the 66cm dish on our motorhome.

hi all tworives here we have had a dish put up and had sky original installed but cant get bbc channels or itv get most of the sky stuff though.we are in benidorm and we get channel 5 sometimes.the sat man said he heard that the bbc and itv channels are going on freeview in the autumn but wait and see didnt understand him much lol.i dont like soaps but miss some shows on channel 4 sad arnt i.dont miss liverpool at all even though benidorm after 2 is like the film dusk till dawn speak soon

You should be able to get BBC/ITV/Channel 4, although you might lose it in the evening. What size dish?

Unfortunately that page is pretty limited, as the North Beam is the one you are interested in for transmission off Astra 2d, for BBC and ITV, and they have only shown really what is possible up to a 1.2M dish,
This all really changed about 3 years ago when the signal strength was deliberately reduced on some channels because of programming licences issue in EU.
