San Fulgencio?
Anyone know anything about this town - it appears to be close to Guardamar Del Segura. I may have the opportunity of a job around that area (fingers crossed and candles lit please - then I don't have to return to England). It would involve us moving but know nothing about the area at all. Any helpful comments gratefully received:D

Hi Sue the house we own in La marina is under san fulgencio. La marina urb is very mixed. We have Spanish, Dutch and Icelandic neighbours. dolores and guardamar are very nice. Los Montesinos about 15 - 20 mins drive away is very traditional but with a nice mix of nationalities, Has open air movies in the square etc. I do believe a lot of ex pats live and own in guardamar but it is still quite Spanish., La Marina village is still very quaint. The beaches are lovely.. Good Luck

Thank you for that Jean - we mix with a lot of nationalities here in Albir and we would prefer to mix more with the Spanish this time around:D the towns highligted are they more Spanish?
so far only been to Delores to the government building to sign for the house, but i loved los montesinos, there is still a square and on a sunday the Spanish go to church and then meet in the square and sit on the street cafe whilst the children played., There is a small expat presence and they are builkding an urb about 10 mins walk from the centre but it doesn't look like its going to be huge. guardamar I found to be still quite traditional ( you don't gret lime in yer lager!!! LOL ) a few fish restaurants on the front and a nice little street market and park. To be honest I think it is one of those areas where you can feel comfortable but still know you're in spain..
