I did see on the BBC last night that British Airways are often cheaper than the so called budget airlines for passengers who take luggage, how many dont?!!

As much as I dislike BA because of their dirty tactics with Virgin and the likes you do get a better service and a meal

A little trick if booking on BA internet site is to check both the "economy lowest" and the "club lowest" prices. When the cheapest economy tickets are sold out, there are sometimes still a few bargain club tickets available which can be cheaper than the mid to higher echelon of economy. Doesnt often work but always worth checking.

I would challenge anybody to what the BBC Said, They gave those prices on short notice flights flying out today, we all know low cost airlines flights are only really so much cheaper when booked in advance.

I would expect anybody who has a price of £750+ on easyjet to look elsewhere.

I must admit however I have seen some very reasonable prices from BA when looking, but they only fly out of Gatwick which is no advantage to me.

Ryanair also state they will double refund the difference back if you find a cheaper flight, I wouldnt have a clue as to anybody who has done this and could back this up, as they are more takers than givers.

Im sure the phonecall to Ryaniar could be more than your refund could be, lol

BA also offer "price promise" on many flights BUT it has to be exactly the same route which, for example, rules out comparing a flight from gatwick with a flight from stansted.
