From 4th October Ryanair are launching this new card which will enable passengers to fly without the admin charges per person normally charged. How they are doing that I am unsure because in their blurb they talk about a refund of a 6 GBP voucher. Other than that I think this is a good idea which could mean considerable savings for a family.

hi, I use the mastercard prepay & have done for 2-3 years now to escape their fees.
Is the new Ry card the only fee free of booking post 4 oct?
I just looked on their website & can't see anything.

Does anyone know if there is a monthly charge for this card?

Has anyone managed to get hold of one of these cards?
It may be me but I cannot find the Ryanair card on the link from its own website!

Ok, next question: what is a pre-paid mastercard when it's at home (and yes, I have looked at both sites but maybe my blonde senior moment's come early this week!)

If I use my credit card to buy Ryanair flights and they go belly up ( not spreading rumours ) I can claim my money back from them ( as I did with Globespan). Well, do the same rules apply to a prepaid credit card, especially if it is issued by the airline themselves?

You load it up with money in advance and then use it as a mastercard up to that limit. I have one that is about to become redundant.

Ah! another O'Leary get me even richer quick scheme.... has our money, gets short term interest on it probably outdoing the savings we make 'at his expense' for not paying his appalling charges! Clear now!
