I saw an article yesterday stating that Ryanair was making an extra 548 million, Yes, five hundred and forty eight million pounds a year, out of its little extra charges like luggage in the hold and other perks.
A nice little number no doubt.
Should go a long way towards paying his fuel bills I would have thought......:thumbup:

:) Just a little update on Hand luggage ! I was flying out of Gatwick on Easyjet on Friday ,and they requested that all passengers that checked in online had to come forward and put their luggage in the the measuring frame ,and if it didn't fit ,bag had to be checked in at cost of Â£16.00 .

The amount of money they are making is obscene, but I guess you have to admire Michael O'Learly for being so totally upfront about it. He admits freely that he's in it for the money and doesn't give a toss about his passengers.

Ah, but as usual Uncle Mick has an "out". All those â‚¬1 and â‚¬5 flights do not have a charge for online check in. In other words the online charge is NOT obligatory.
