Default RWC Predictions - KOTB ROUND TWO

It's starting to hot up a bit now!!!! Our budding pundits are finding it tough but we have had our first fully correct prediction. Congratulations to Happy NZ frm (predictably!) the NZ board who predicted that France would indeed beat Namibia by 87 points to 10. Those 22 points have shot him up the leaderboard while early leader, The Dean (Spain), drops a few places after an average week.

I'll post the results for Round Two first with the Overall scores at the end.

ROUND TWO - INDIVIDUAL

1. _____ HAPPY NZ (NZ) .................... 77pts (↑ 3 places)
2. _____ Gryphea (Canada) ................ 52pts (↑ 2 places)
3. _____ Welshchem (Canada) ............ 47pts (↑ 1 place)
=4. ____ Amazulu (Australia) .............. 45pts (NEW)
=4. ____ Ash1 (NZ) ........................... 45pts (→)
=4. ____ Brussels Sprout (NZ) ............ 45pts (NEW)
=4. ____ Mike OC (Spain) .................. 45pts (↓ 2 places)
=4. ____ The Dean (Spain) ................. 45pts (↓ 3 places)
=9. ____ Adiestubbs (Australia) ........... 40pts (NEW)
=9. ____ Bamba (Spain) ..................... 40pts (NEW)
=9. ____ Benny the Ball (Australia) ...... 40pts (↑ 2 places)
=9. ____ Dreamcatcher (France) .......... 40pts (↑ 5 places)
=9. ____ Julesnye (NZ) ....................... 40pts (NEW)
=9. ____ Kate 45 (France) ................... 40pts (↓ 5 places)
=9. ____ Oakvillian (Canada) ............... 40pts (↓ 5 places)
=9. ____ TeamEmbo (NZ) .................... 40pts (↑ 2 places)
=9. ____ TommyAuvergne (France) ....... 40pts (↓ 7 places)
=18. ___ Fortaleza (Spain) ................... 35pts (↓ 7 places) :curse: :curse:
=18. ___ Katsmajics Other Half (Australia)35pts (NEW)
=18. ___ Smudger SCFC (Australia) ....... 35pts (NEW)
21. ____ SDale (France) ...................... 15pts (NEW)
N/C ____ Stevie B (NZ) ........................ 0pts
N/C ____ RugbyMatt (Spain) ................. 0pts

ROUND TWO - BOARD RESULTS

NB As S Dale joined with only three games remaining in the round, his score will not be included in the Board tally. Remember, it's the average score per player that counts on this table.

1. _____ NEW ZEALAND .................... 49.4pts (↑ 3 places)
2. _____ Canada ................ 46,33pts (↓ 1 place)
3. _____ Spain ................... 41.25pts (→)
4. _____ France ................. 40 pts (↓ 2 places)
5. _____ Australia ............... 39pts (→)

So a fantastic round for New Zealand, helped along by their highest scorer Happy NZ and all their team did not score under 40. Canada put in another solid round occupying two of the top three spots. Once again, Fortaleza (ahem...me!) is proving to be the weakest link in the Spain team whilst France struggled as none of their team could score above 40. Good to see the Aussies field a better team this week to help Benny along, but you guys need a pep talk as the two 35 point score really brought down your average.

Default Re: RWC Predictions - King (or Queen) of the Board

OK then......The Overall Positions at the end of Round Two are as follows:

OVERALL INDIVIDUAL (after two rounds)

1. _____ HAPPY NZ (NZ) .................... 132pts
2. _____ The Dean (Spain) ................. 112pts
=3. ____ Gryphea (Canada) ................ 107pts
=3. ____ Mike OC (Spain) ................... 107pts
=5. ____ TommyAuvergne (France) ...... 102pts
=5. ____ Welshchem (Canada) ............ 102pts
7. _____ Ash1 (NZ) ............................ 100pts
=8. ____ Kate 45 (France) ................... 95pts
=8. ____ Oakvillian (Canada) ............... 95pts
=10. ___ Benny the Ball (Australia) ....... 90pts
=10. ___ TeamEmbo (NZ) .................... 90pts
=12. ___ Dreamcatcher (France) ........... 85pts
=12. ___ Fortaleza (Spain) ................... 85pts :curse: :curse: :curse:
14. ____ Stevie B (NZ) ........................ 52pts
=15. ___ Amazulu (Australia) ................ 45pts
=15. ___ Brussels Sprout (NZ) .............. 45pts
=17. ___ Adiestubbs (Australia) ............. 40pts
=17. ___ Bamba (Spain) ....................... 40pts
=17. ___ Julesnye (NZ) ........................ 40pts
=20. ___ Katsmajics Other Half (Australia)35pts
=20. ___ RugbyMatt (Spain) ................. 35pts
=20. ___ Smudger SCFC (Australia) ........ 35pts
23. ____ SDale (France) ...................... 15pts

It's looking interesting. As you can see, one correct score shoots you straight up the board. Very few correct margin scores in round two - let's see that improve in round three, eh???

OVERALL BOARD (after two rounds)

This is calculated from the combined score per player from Rounds 1 & 2 listed as an average (if you get my drift... )

1. _____ NEW ZEALAND .................... 51.2pts
2. _____ Canada ................. 50.67pts
3. _____ Spain ................... 47.38pts
4. _____ France ................... 47pts
5. _____ Australia ............... 44.5pts

Very tight here. Round Three could really shake this board up a bit.
