Default Rio Tinto mine to re-open?

Read in the financial media that the copper (? I think) mine near Huelva could be re-opening. Anyone know anything about this? Presumably could be quite a big deal for employment and maybe internationally too.

There is a huge hole there and that produced a lot of "tailings" I have seen in the past that there are companies who are screening these elsewhere for gold or silver so maybe now that the price of base metals is high they can do it for copper as well.

According to this and other reports, it looks like a Cypriot company intends to reopen it, hopefully next year.
