... meanwhile, back in The (real) World, she seems to be in Malaga according to Marine Traffic.com and the Malaga port webcam (albeit I'm not totally sure, the distance is a bit of a drawback!) should anyone wish to view!

I prefer something with more grace and lines, all these things are is just a floating tower block full of people. |

Well I grant you the weather this year is none too Caribbean - and frankly having cruised there more than once myself I'd say it's the weather and sealife which are the main attractions - but for the first time (yes honest:eek:) I think you've been harsh for the sake of it. Malaga has a lot going for it for the visitor - it's only really the cash-strapped locals who might struggle to make the most of anything other than the beaches.
its good for part of the South of Spain, pity there isnt more of it - and more visitors. :( |

Had a look at some photos of the World. Doesn't seem very swish, have seen better cruise ships. You can rent for around $1000 to $1500 per night! I think youd get a pretty good crew & chef with $20k a month!! |

I'm with you there, Domino - I wouldn't go to the foot of our stairs to see it (as we say in Lancashire!).

(can't find a smilie for Shudder) I am finding the newish boxie shapes for warships off putting as well, I know its there to send the radar signals off in the wrong direction, but some really look ugly and I don't think it works all that well - they need to absorb the signal not deflect it.... Mental note - have a look at a few possibles and report back. |
