Is it possible to trade in a UK RHD car in Spain to a main dealer ( Seat, Ford) towards a brand new car?

UK as in UK registration plates or Spanish plated RHD?
The latter you should maybe ask them if a deal can be done. The former,very doubtful.

There is always a brit returning to the uk to live, who has a spanish plated car which they want to get rid of. Place an advert for your brit car either for sale or for swap for a spanish Lhd. You then either have the cash from the sale of your uk car OR you have a spanish plate car to chop in. Ideally you take a cheaper spanish car in part ex for yours, plus some CASH.The only trouble I forsee is that you need a good knowledge of cars to assess the condition of the p/x and its fair value.
So I would not say you are stuffed.!!

I have also just found a couple of dealers who buy RHD cars for cash- poor price I would imagine but at least it would be something to bring to the main dealer towards a brand new car

We sold a British registered VW Polo to a dealer for cash and got what I felt was a very fair price.
Where about are you?

There are a number of places that will buy a UK plate car for cash, have a look in Round town news, euro weekley news etc, also have a look at some Facebook groups in your area, this of course presumes your on Facebook, its just a matter of getting the car in the public eye
