Hi there, I am planning on renting a place for approx 2-3 months in Fuengirola. My big question is, do I have to get a residency permit or something like that. I hold an irish passport (european union), just wanted to check so I dont get hauled off during the night by the police, hee hee.

no you don't, not if you're staying less than 90 days

as Lynnxa says, no you don't need to register with anyone - although you may feel the need to tell someone back home where you are - as it is really an extended holiday.

enjoy yourself, just not too many riotous parties or you will get dragged off by the police in the middle of the night - or is that what you want ?
