Hola All Have just been to solicitors and during our visit she told us the residencia paper has now been changed back to the plastic card but with no photo as so many peeps complained. Anyone know how to change the paper ones?

They have trialed a smaller version which may become the norm.

Some info here http://ukinspain.fco.gov.uk/en/help-.../residence-req

It may be smaller but it still isn't valid ID.

I know that after a friends visit there this morning, Antequera police station are now giving out the "cards" to new applicants, rather than the previous piece of paper.

I say "cards" but they are in fact very thin, very flimsy pieces of credit card sized plastic, that will no doubt become creased and/or torn within a relatively short time if kept inside a wallet/purse.
