Replacement Horno
Has anyone on CE replaced the cooker supplied by Fadesa (Aspes Ideal horno y placa) with a more modern cooker/hob combination?
eg Bosch fan oven etc.
Can you get a modern replacement which fits into the existing kitchen units or would we need to buy the horno and placa as seperate units (about doubles the price ) or would we have to get a floor-standing cooker and modify the unit?
Any advice gratefully received.

Not 100%.. but I am pretty sure that these are standard 60cm units. So you should get a fit.
Its worth considering, perhaps now that you are changing, T-ing off the gas line to the boiler and running a couple/few of metres of pipe, behind the floor-plinth - that way you can have the best combo (IMO) of gas hob and electric oven. It would also reduce your electricity consumption and you may be able to get a cheaper rate based on your KWH usage. Of course you need a recognised plumber, and Bill+Claire can help there with contact info.
I don't know if there is a limitation for the gas throughput though, but just something to consider.
You can get double ovens that are floor standing too that would make it a really posh kitchen.... (though you shouldn't reduce your KWH contract if so). I bought some stuff from these folk recently.
Built Under Double Ovens & Cheap Built Under Double Oven Deals at Appliances Direct
They may deliver to Spain (haven't checked) or Bill again knows a very reasonable delivery service that he has used for shipping over some heavy home stuff previously. But as the first few are hotpoint/indesit, i.e EU-wide brands you may even find them on ebay Spain... or one of the local stores may be able to order it (if so that would be my preference personally).
Good luck .. I havent exactly answered your question just adding some ideas...

We are in Las Encinas, and bought a Teka multifunction oven and Teka TB600 hob in May from Isidro Reyes (C/Luistania, near the post office in Ayamonte) for €259 and €190 (exc 21% IVA) respectively. Delivered and installed next day, including removal of old Aspes combo oven/hob and all packaging. Great job!

We bought a replacement oven and hob from the place on the industrial estate next to the garden centre. It was fitted within a couple of days and the old one was taken away.

There are all sorts of businesses on the poligono, many are retail including: furniture, lighting, tyres, garden centre, English supermarket etc. There is even a Night Club. It's quite extended so will take some stamina to explore on foot. Why not get a bike?
