Rental in Gandia
I am looking for a rental in Gandia, would prefer long term but would consider others. I don't want to live in the beach area as I like a busier place out of season. I dont want to be the only person rattling around in an empty apartment block.
My husband plays Tennis and I have been working in a local Charity shop here for three years so it would suit us to be somewhere we can keep busy.
Any advise as to what is a nice part of the town area to live in.
We have lived amongst Spanish people in a village so I am aware of keeping different hours and noise levels being a bit different.
Any suggestions as to a letting agent ?
Many Thanks

I think you have chosen a good place but then I would say that wouldn't I. We have a place in the City and are very pleased with our choice. Good transport links and some very good restaurants. Plenty of shops and a lively cohesive population. Some lively Politics also. I do not know where you were before but I find Gandia to be not obviously populated by other brits in great number. Charity shops are more noticeable by there absence. The nearby town of Oliva seems to have a bigger number of these, also seems to have a healthy population of stray cats and dogs who the local north Europeans occupy themselves feeding, rescuing and generally supporting.
Tennis I know nothing about but it does go on
There is an active Area Social Club and a U3A in Oliva.
In the main Gandia is a fine place but there will always be the odd individual who can be a challenge. There are a few small areas where the locals are a little more boisterous than others.
