Default remote working in spain

Not for me, I wish!!

If an Irish national has a business based in Ireland but wishes to run it whilst living in Spain, what are the implications?

i know that in France they'd be on very thin ice but are the laws different in Spain?

As and when he becomes tax resident in Spain he is required to declare his income and pay tax. Thus his limited company(?) liability will be in Ireland but his personal tax liability will be in Spain. Presumably he employs an accountant(?) who will be better placed to advise him.

If the person was working day to day for the company and was resident in Spain then theyl would have to become autonomo and bill his Irish company a monthly salary. So he would have to pay social security and tax in Spain

If he was a director but didnt actually work and draw a salary then he would just have to declare any dividend in Spain
