A really refreshing drink

I'm fed up of having a beer every night, and when I drink Gin I rapidly get p!ssed. Neither seem to really refresh

Any suggestions for a really nice long cool refreshing end of day whilst sitting on the balcony drinky?

For cocktails please provide recipe

I think you just need to try different kinds of beer. Dutch white beers and German dark beers!

Our local pub does Hoegarden, very nice but at £4.50 a pint, not a session beer!

I enjoy a very large Pimms with sugarfree seven-up and to make it really special add some bubbley. Oh don't forget the mint, slice of orange and cucumber then you don't have to worry about having dinner.

OK I have looked it up for you

Pimms

There are a number of pimms the most popular being No 1 cup. It has a gin base and contains a blend of liqueurs and fruit extracts, giving a bitter-sweet fruity taste. Very nice..........

Re: A really refreshing drink

Pink Suprise
1 measure of Malibu or similar
1/2 measure of Campari
lots of ice and top up with grapefruit juice

Death in the Afternoon
Glass of white wine with a measure of pernod, lots of ice and soda if you need it.

My Favorite
Crushed ice, strawberries or even better raspberries shaken or blended with some vodka, a small amount of brandy, pour into a glass and top with champagne and stir.

Tinto de Verano... I agree

Very refreshing, any old cheap red wine and gaseosa with ice.

Really nice and as Lynnxa says even the ready mixed is very good.

Salud!
