Default ready mixed concrete

what sort of money is concrete delivered? car hard standing grade - couple of m3.

Does the price compare with diy - I'd have to rent a concrete mixer & get the materials delivered.

any advice appreciated, don't want to look too shocked when I visit the supplier.

I would be interested in finding out, we want a 15ft x 15ft concrete standing as well. Would think that it would have to be re-enforced if it has to have a car on it, our was but the landlord paid for that to be done so have no idea how much it cost.

Last time I bought it, but was a few years ago, it was 30 odd €`s a mtr and a minimum load charge of 3 mtrs even if you only wanted 1 or 2.

should of asked jay01

its 70€/m3 and each wagon carries a max of 7m3.

thats if the wagon has access to pour it directly, if not its pumped, at 100€/hour.

couple of m3, you´d be better off getting sand/agregate by the m3 sack and bags of cement, mixing it by hand and doing it yourself maybe? unless you want it quick and easy - couple of metres cubed straight off is only 140€ ?

We are doing this piece by piece with a mixer to cover some underfloor heating. I have never done work that hard, and we built all the internals walls ourselves. Feeding the mixer quick enough for this job is a killer, and if you don't you just have little puddles of concrete drying out.

Flooring should be done with almost dry sharp sand and cement mix.
