If you are looking for work in the nursing field, perhaps you should know that one of the English language newspapers on the Costa del Sol ran a feature a couple of weeks ago about Spanish nurses who had moved to the Netherlands to take jobs as care assistants in residential homes for the elderly. They preferred to get a job, any job, although it wasn't really utilising their skills, as they hadn't been able to get any work in Spain. And of course they were native Spaniards.

Sorry, but it really is that difficult for people to find work here at present.
