Take a look round the urbanisations. The front doors lock if they slam shut behind you so a few people have been putting different locks on to be able to open them from the outside without a key. If you do that type of thing there could be work there for you. Just a thought.

Hi

My place is in Denia, 30 mins north of Benidorm. I shut the door the other day while a spare set of keys were still in the lock, so that my keys were useless. A locksmith came out within the hour and charged me 35 euros to slide a piece of plastic into the frame to gain access. It took him about 5 seconds.

It was worth seeing, just to realise how easy it is to get into a property if you haven't double or triple locked it. He was very friendly and professional and gave me a receipt for the cash I gave him.

Did he give you a slap on the hand for being silly?

Icortez,

If you're going to get one of those little vans with your profession advertised on the side - then my advice would be to get someone else to spell it for you

That happens all the time round here. We have put a handle on the outside of our door to stop us getting locked out.
