Re-directing post from UK
A friend has sold their property and are in the process of preparing for the big move ( I am not jealous, really I'm not!).
We are all wondering what happens as far as redircting post is concerned? I know that if you relocate within the UK you can have your post redirected, but can you do that if you move to Spain?
Any advice? Thanks!

Never heard of anyone doing this before, could they not get it re directed to a friend/relative in UK, then that person send it all on to them ????

Yes you can. When we moved here, 3 years ago, we had all our mail redirected for 6 months and, at that time, our mailing address was at a Venta. No problems, it just comes in a big packet when there's enough to send. Remarkably, I don't know of anything that went astray either.

You can have post redirected all over the world for up to 2 years. For redirection abroad it costs £71.90 for each different surname.
You can pick up a form from the Post Office.

Yes, the post office WILL redirect to Spain, it costs a little more but they will, and it works.

You can have it done for sure, but we tend to get about three weeks worth in one day!

If you like reading English magazines, take out a years subscription. They will get redirected to Spain as part of the redirection fee.
An overseas sub costs an awful lot more due to the postage.
