I have never known so much rain here nor for so long. I have lost a couple of cacti and I am draining the others regularly. The wind in the courtyard blows over the swing seat and pot plants, lord knows how many pots I have lost now

this is the 3rd (or is it 4th (getting confused)) session like this since Christmas.
we are at about 800m asl with clouds below us, clouds above us, the road thru the olive grove to "civilisation" is awash, the BH managed to paddle her way home on the bus after the big yellow JCB had moved large boulders off the road,
all in all not the sun, sea and sangria I signed up for, even my wellies think there is a problem, and the local dogs have started growing webbed feet.
but we are all doing swimmingly

ours came over in our UK "stuff".
amazing the cold weather 4 layer jackets and double lined trousers we put in a box thinking "Just in case Ha Ha"
driving out of the village the other morning we thought it was rather misty, but then thats how it is when used to living at or just above sea level.
here it is just the clouds passing by.
this morning we had clouds above us and clouds below us - but at 800m asl we are frighteningly aware that nose bleeds can be common
and some numpty says I shouldn't get Winter Fuel Payment
