I've searched the forum but only found half the answer to my question.
My husband and I are equal joint owners. I know that we each have to submit a form, and I understand from another thread that for a joint owner you put HALF the "taxable base" figure in box 4.
My question concerns the "capacity" of the "person performing the self assessment". The words "jointly responsible" appear on the online form, but they're on a separate line and I'm just checking that they do in fact apply to the boxes below, including S "payer" (ie "jointly responsible payer").
So basically, the question is - S or P ?
Many thanks. I'm following the advice from my previous thread (thanks bobd and erics) and otherwise have found the form very easy to complete.

Thanks bobd, I've checked box S.
Blimey! I make our tax for 2016 just 7,40 euros each!!
Valor Catastral 8922,76. Divide by 2 for joint owners. Multiply by 1,1%. Bought on 16 March so divide by 365 and multiply by 290 (ie deducting 75 days). Multiply by 19%
It is only a little house in the campo with no services at all, but ... really ?!?

Mind you gestor would still charge 100 euros to do the form for you and solicitor xxxxeuros. That and the simplicity of the process gives me satisfaction of not being ripped off😃
