Is it legal to have "bumper stickers" on a vehicle in Spain... Have not seen many if any.. Nor in France except on maybe an imported pickup truck ..

¿Llevar pegatinas en el coche es motivo de multa?
I've seen lots of cars with stickers on the back (Catalan donkey, Sorian horse, etc...) although I haven't noticed if people avoid putting them on bumpers. Seems there's no specific law banning stickers on bumpers so you're probably okay.
Ones that are illegal:
- Ones that affect visibility out the back window.
- Reflective or luminescent.
- Racing/rally stickers - apparently incites people to break the speed limit according to the DGT.
- Stickers covering the number plate. Probably wise to leave a bit of space around the number plate too. You're allowed the country code next to the numberplate if it's a pre-EU design numberplate.

As most cars these days have large plastic bumpers I think it should be encouraged. Maybe it's just not a Spanish thing....
If the excuse is that it distracts the driver in the car behind, I doubt a sticker will make the average Spanish driver any worse than they normally are...
I'm in Oz at the moment and was surprised the first day to see people indicating going into roundabouts, giving way with a wave and using the correct lane......
