We're planning to have an outside party in 3 weeks, but not really sure what the rules are. Expecting about 30 folk.
We'll tell them to all wear masks and we'll provide hand cleanser.

It'll be on the pool patio so no tables.

There's rules, but also "sensible precautions", because coronavirus clearly doesn't respect whatever the current rules are.

Is there enough space on your patio for everyone to SD?

What are your plans to stop, or at least discourage, people from coalescing into one, or a small number of large groups? .... Maybe you could provide tables, but no chairs, and disperse the tables far apart to encourage SD?

Have you considered providing straws to enable people to drink without needing to remove their mask?

Frankly in the current circumstances the very idea of holding a party strikes me as highly irresponsible.

I agree, and only gave advice above on the assumption that it will go ahead irrespective of anyone's advice on it, er, not being the best idea.

One week has elapsed, so there are two more to go, ..... and then I think we need to add a further two weeks (14 days) to really know how the party went.
