Well, this has happened before. Someone comes on, foams at the injustice of it all, but when you suggest they get off their **** and organise a group, they go strangely quiet.
I think a group would be an excellent idea. You could all chip in and raise a fighting fund, and so on and so on.
Get it working well and you might well find that people like myself who are in no immediate or obvious need would be inclined to chip in and help simply on the basis that you never know when you might need a bit of help your self.
I have to say tho that if those concerned can't be bothered to take such a basic step as to organise and fight, then I'm at a loss to know why any of us should give a damn.

Lenox - thanks for the links, I'll follow them up.

I think the reason the Priors apparently haven't organised something themselves is that they've lost their home and are living in a garage without electricity. I would imagine it's pretty difficult for them to cope with basic living let alone organising some sort of action group - certainly nothing to do with not being bothered.

If they did then why did they not get straight into action then instead of waiting ?

Yes it was stated in a previous thread, that the knew a bout impending action approx 2 years prior.
Did see something re illegal builds and LRAU,in the online edition of CBNews, which I believe stated that the EU had "impressed"upon the Spanish Gov the seriousness of the situation, and the Spanish Gov responded with a statement, wich included the "possibilty" of a moratorium.
Prob been here a 1000 times before, but will look at the site again and see if I can post a link if it's still there!

Didn't find the piece alluded to,but did find this, which may be of interest.
App the regional Valencian association setup to fight the LRAU,and it's associated cousins,is about to go national, and is inviting members from concerned partie's!
Tha association is called,Abusos Urbanisticos No,(AUN),and is headed by one Charles Svoboda, who acc to the piece is a former Canadian diplomat!
Tha full article can be found on <snip wrong link>

Thanks lcortez - appreciate it. I've contacted AUN (following Lenox's post) so will see if they suggest any ways to help.

I'm puzzled as to why the link posted takes me to someone trying to sell stocks???

Has any one been through the planning situation in the UK.
I know a case in the Uk where a family had built there house a meter too big and they were made to demolish it. The whole building had to come down.
