Pretty Villages around Granada?

Pretty Villages around Granada?
Hi, I would like to find out about nice in-land villages near Granada. Not too far so we can go in by bus or taxi to sample the night life... Any ideas?

How far away do you want to be , go to Guadix and you can live in cave, absolutely amazing interiors. The Alpujarras are beautiful but a long way from Granada as you have to go round the Sierra rather than over the top.

Ha, no cave please! My husband is six foot six... the Alpujarras are too far out. I am thinking of somewhere nearer so we can get a cab into Granada for dinner etc... yet not live in the centre as it will be too hectic and touristy. Somewhere where we could perhaps build a house if we are brave enough....
