Hi all,
After coming to the area for 26 years, we moved out to the Nerja area permantly 7 months ago and purchased a beautiful villa to enjoy our early retirement in, Daughter settled in at school, WONDERFUL!
Unfortunately, my wife then suffered a serious medical condition and we have had to return to the UK and put our villa back on the market, a very expensive mistake but hindsight is a wonderful gift.
My question is, we have had to leave our "lap" dog with friends for the 6 months quarantine period, ending in August when we will bring him back.
Does anybody think somebody would need THEIR vehicle driven back to the UK? Its just one of a few things going round in my head at the moment, any suggestions welcome.
A very sad Martin an a cold, wet, windy UK

Really sorry to hear about your wife's illness Martin, and the end to your new life in Spain
I do hope that your wife is doing OK?
When you say that your dog is spending his 6 months' quarantine here......can I just check that you mean you're having to wait for the 6 months after a successful rabies vaccination blood test??
Otherwise, I think you might come unstuck come August!
I'm sure you know what you're doing, but it's possible that in the trauma of all that was going on for your wife, maybe you might have overlooked something relating to the Pet Passport scheme?
(Or I might have misunderstood??)
How long have you been back in the UK, and how are you all doing?
