Thumbs up on a positive note....

Hi all,
Just wanted to praise up the town hall for sorting out our building permit for reform in just 3 weeks.....just like they said they would!
The staff who I dealt with were brilliant.....sorting out the building permit, pointing me in the right direction for changing an incorrect address on the escitura,(complete I may add with little notes of explanation for the bits I couldn't grasp) getting my padron done in less than 20 minutes, therefore enabling me to get a PO box, and giving me a hand full of photo copies that I needed for all the above.
Also in the same week I need to see an emergency doctor.....E111 in hand I walked into the health centre and was seen by a doctor within 8 minutes.

How about some more positive comments on Spanish authorities? Let's hear about things that do go right!

PS...the house is halfway done, roof on, windows in, electric on.....builder jumped the gun a bit and started the works two days after we applied

Congratulations - what part of Spain is this in? Or did you dream it all, like in Dallas. Only kidding!

Murcia, inland.......scared to say where incase theres a stampede:scared: !!!!!!

Surely there are some good news stories.....all we seem to hear about lately are the rip off's..(been there got the T shirt) and slow beaurocratic red tape.

Had a nightemare of a week this week though......bank manager ordered some euros for us withdraw from our local branch inland (account was opened in Cabo Riog).....money from HIFX hadn't cleared. The manager had a hissy fit at our branch manager in Cabo Riog, consequently she's had to reorder the money to another branch for us to collect rather than face his wrath again....oooops
Mary
