Check that there's more than 2 inches of water in the bottom of the pool when you dive in off the high board.

3 inches should probably be enough. ;)

This reminds me of a track on a Mike Harding record of many years ago

Pool attendant "Get out, you're banned for peeing in the pool"
Boy "but everybody does it"
Pool Attendant "Not from the top diving board, they don't"

Nice to see so many take your life into your own hands, and disregard safety.
Quite obviously:rofl: coz it's your pool you couldn't possibly have a heart attack in it:p

I suppose you could have one of those floating dispensers with a bottle of aspirins and a GTN spray.

What steps would you take?

I never swim alone or when no ones about no matter how attractive it seems, it's quite simple and common sense really.

Blimey, if you worry everytime you go in your pool that summat might happen then most of the time you wouldnt, like saying wont learn to drive as I might injure or kill someone, or wont gly as plane might crash, I am more than happy to put on scuba kit and lay on the bottom to cool off, eminently sensible as wont get too much sun on me that way.

Expect hubby might check on me at some point lol, but if you worry about things life is no fun at all lol:o
