Our Russian neighbors are building a house next door. They have built a pool, at the moment it is just a concrete hole & they have filled it with water to see if it leaks before tiling it.
The pool is now stagnant & is full of mosquito lava, so we have an abundance of mossie's.
How do we report it to the Ayuntamiento (Spelling) Town Hall so they can come & spray it.
The Russian gentleman doesn't speak Spanish or English.
TIA

Hi Wendy...
I dont know who you report it to, but how about getting some bleach (couple of bottles) pour it in the water, and will kill the mosq lavy.....not sure how you will get thru to your neighbour tho.....Try going onto bablfish or google translate, type in what you would like to say to your neighbour, translate it into russian and print it off......................show it to him, not fool proof but may help, and good luck..

I know they are going to suffer like we are at the moment.
All the villas here are surrounded by high walls.

I have done a letter using altavista, but they don't have a letter box, the postman puts their letters on our letter box. I will just have to hope to see them when we go out in the car.
I know they are going to suffer like we are at the moment.

Thanks for the advice, the house has no front door, at the moment it is a shell with a few walls added, it is surrounded by fencing which is coved over. If I can I will take a photo. We know his name & he is very charming, BUT!!! I would not like to cross him, you know what I mean ?????

Luckily his daughter speaks English, they were very charming. Apart from that he has offered to do all the wall & as a bonus he is going to get our house painted, & what color we would like, & its not a small house. When it happens that will be a double bonus.

Update, the Russian gentleman & his daughter rang our door bell today to talk about the dividing wall. I mention his pool & he is going to do it, time will tell. He said he hadn't noticed !!!!!!!
