You probably ought to define what is the coast (for when the poll gets working).....eg, if you are within 30km of the sea then you live on the coast.
Or wouldnt it be nice to have some sort of interactive map of Spain and you can just "stick a pin" in the bit where you live.?

Hi Keith..I tried that before in THIS thread but don't know if any one tried Frapper, I have also seen it on Google maps..got some really nice replies and maps....we must be able to do it between us all ??...By the way I am about 35 k inland from Torre del mar up a mountain in a small pueblo blanco...

Hi All,
Costa Esuri, 6km from two of the best beaches in the world one in Spain the other in Portugal say 15min depending on traffic by car.
In the middle of two Championship golf courses 4 more first class courses within 6km.
Enough! Sounds to much like an advert or is it just paradise?

Also a mountaineer, about 5kms to Marbella, in spanish village, so all neighbours are Spanish. I'm the only foreigner. I'm close enough to the town, beach etc, but also away from it, so can pick and chose. Must admit since being in a Spanish community, much happier than I was in an expat one.

We live in a very small town 8 km inland from Cullera on the Costa Valencia.

Hi, not sure in kilometres, but about 25 mins drive down mountain to the coast at Algerobbo, between torre del mar and torrox costa. Lovely to have best of both worlds, worst thing about it is that I am not here all the time, but here at the moment and weather is BRILL!!Luv Eve

..John if only I could...i tried the link and seemed to get my location on it, but it is not the most user friendly page I have used, judging by some comments its easier to do it on google earth...I actually found a picture on there taken of my house by someone unknown to me...how weird is that ..great atmospheric picture though...

We live in Adra, a min from the beach, great in summer, but can be very windy at times

Inland and loving it, growing own veg and taking it slowly...but love to visit the coast from time to time for a paddle in the sea.
