Default Please help with new gas regulator

Hello there

We are after a different kind of regulator that will give more pressure at the burner in order to heat a large pan of oil for a turkey cook out over Xmas.
The kind we have now is the standard screw on type, but this doesn't heat the oil enough for deep frying ans I suspect are used mostly for Paella's etc

I hope this makes sense, maybe if there are any American's here, they may be able to point me in the right direction as they have turkey cook outs alot.

Thank you
Merrymex

Several points here to answer your question.

Surely the pressure regulators you can purchase here are only for the gas bottles you can purchase here. No good looking for something different or it will not fit.
Does pressure relate to the quality of flame too?
If your cooker is not of a good design then maybe you should change that.
One other thought are you using Butano or Propano? One gives a high calorific value that the other. Sorry but we don’t know which, so ask at your supplier.

Sounds like a poop cooker.
We had our 20 yr old thing replaced, brand new 4 gas burners, one is for woks etc.
It boils oil with little effort, extremely powerful and on normal gas bottle supply.

As does ours, no problems whatsoever
