Even I´m starting to get interested in plants now...and that is saying something!

I have a reputation as a "mataplantas" in my home. And yet somehow I find myself waiting with baited breath for this list of plants to come out. What are you doing to me!!

Can you make sure there is a section for totally indestructable plants on this list - if they are fire proof, water dodging and shock resistent then all the better.

Thanks

Hey Keith

This is the exact reason I get so excited when I manage to grow anything in my garden. I have spent 52 years killing every plants I have ever touched with love and care, but here in Spain the plants just love me....for the last 2 years I have managed to grow fruit and veg that we have actually been able to eat and flowers that sing out with colour......ooops here I go again.

Well bully for you! I am today contemplating throwing away my aloe vera cos its gone a sort of red colour. I´m sure it´s supposed to be green? Probably just embarrassed at the sheer incompetance of its owner!

If Mr Aloe Vera makes it to the bin then i will only have two remaining plants to take care of...and just thinking about the responsibility of that is worrying.

It´s probably a good thing we don´t have kids!

I´ll take your word for it. But if it doesn´t magically turn green again I am holding you responsible for the delay in its burial and passage to plant heaven.

Incidentally, what are the most indestructable plants know to man? Indoor and outdoor. I´ll go and stock up.

Ahh, so this change in colour is normal? Hmmm, I wonder how many perfectly healthy plants I have chucked in the bin over the years cos I thought they had died?

I look after the garden where I live, but they are tight with their money.
There are some raised flower beds, all they had in them was weeds, I knew I would struggle to get money for plants.
I cleared the weeds from one, dug it over, chopped some stems off the Aloe Vera and planted them, now they are growing great and even have flowers on them.
Trouble is there`s about nine more beds to do ;-(

Rooting Powder, JDR what's it called in Spanish I have been looking for it for weeks but have no idea what I am actually looking for. You can tell I'm desperate to keep my cuttings alive can't you, I expect when I am an old hand at it like you I too will be mean and rough.
