I sent the picture to the experts who have an app called Plantsnapp.

They identify the plant by consulting their experts who return their opinion within a few days.

In their opinion it is a Datura.

It's free for the first three identifications and 50p thereafter.

Of course they could be wrong!

Thanks Fred,did a Wiki search and it shows it as bearing fruit,which mine doesn't,but then there are so many hybrids about,who could say 100%.I do like it though as it needs no care,I'm trying to put together a garden that can be left mid summer without coming back to a desert.So plenty of Yuka,Agave,Lantana and Pallida's
