Default Plans to move to spain

Hi I'm jenny I have just joined and I have a question I am hoping you guys can help me with. Me and my husband are planning to move to Spain next year, he will be 65 and I will be 52, so I was wondering how we would get on with getting health insurance

If he gets the state pension, you both will get free care
If he doesn't you will have to get Spanish health insurance for one year, and then you can pay into the Spanish NHS system, until your husband is in receipt of his state pension. You apply to the DWP in UK
Look at the government website on moving abroad
Lots of different info on there
Also, sorry if you have already done so, you will need to assess your finances, inheritance tax and income tax in Spain, requirements for residency in Spain etc
Good sources are HMRC, and websites for would be ex pats
