Does a dogs tapeworm treatment have to be signed in its passport to travel TO Europe from uk.
it does not say so on the defra site as far as I can see.

It's only necessary for travel TO the UK. When leaving the UK and entering France or Spain the passport is not even checked.

Yes, that is right the tapeworm treatment is only due before you travel back or to the UK, but both our two pets (cat & dog) passports were definitely checked when we left the UK via the channel tunnel in June to go to Spain for a month.

Our vet in jalon asked for the pet passports for all 7 cats.He registered them read their chips and by the way is an absolute great vet wonderful man and his team perfect
