Default Pet transporter(s)

Well it is now coming to an end and we move initially back to the UK and then back to France. Went to the port area in Javea yesterday for lunch and just wondered why we were going back. But tax and lack of specialist medication here for my wife underpins our decision. Valencia Health have said sorry too expensive you will not get it.

However I digress.

Please does anyone have personal experiences of a pet transport organisation. Our dogs travel with us in the car but three cats have to go back separately.

Finally here our sincere thanks to all the contributors on this forum and for their support information and guidance without which life would have become more than difficult.

We´re using Posh Pets http://www.poshpetstravel.com/conten...travel-enquiry. We haven´t use them yet (next month is booked) but we know people who have and who say they are excellent. They keep you up to date with their journey through their Face Book page. You can get a free, no obligation, quote. They are collecting from us in Chiclana, but they are based on the Costa del Sol.

On Our way back to the UK last may we were overtaken on the motorway by one of these pet transport companies vehicles. It must have been traveling at least around 160kms/h, and dangerously weaving in and out of the traffic.

Although there were no signs on the van the UK personalised reg made it "easy" to determine who it belonged to.

Thankfully our dog was safely settled on our rear seat.

The company you contacted in Javea I believe (way2go) are pet carriers. Says it all over their vans.
