Perscriptions
Hi,
Moving ,at last to Spain in December.last bit of help/info is regarding perscriptions.Being on long term medication for high blood pressure- can you get same drugs etc.. in Spain..Thanks in advance

Hi I've been working as a pharmacist in UK and Spain and I'd say you are not going to have any problem. Blood pressure medicines r pretty much the same ones in both countries.

You can get the same medication in Spain as in the UK, free if you qualify. There are also many you can buy over the counter in Spain, but not in England.

Even on holiday, when we have asked in the farmacia, if they don't have it, they look up their equivalent, so readily available. Living in Wales at the moment, everything is free anyway!
