Default Pension Advisor

Can anyone recommend an English-speaking pension advisor for someone not enormously wealthy?
Blevins Franks aren't able to help unfortunately.

I have several small private pension pots in the UK and pay autonomos in Spain. Now that I'm hitting the last 10 years before retirement I want to make significant contributions.
But I have no idea what the best way to do that in Spain is.

Thanks!

Basically you will need to be automino for a minimum of 15 years to get a minimum Spanish pension. That said it actually means you need to have worked a specific number of days and you need to be working at time of retirement. The last year is important for establishing level so the more you work that year the better. I think that the minimum is around 780 euros a month depending on married/ children etc. You cant make voluntary contributions. This pension can be completely separate from your UK state pension if you have that all paid up by retirement date- so it is a very good deal. The thing you need to do is visit the SEPE website where you will be able to see exactly how many days or years you have already worked and a prediction for the pension. You can work past pension age as well if you haven't reached full 15 years

You can count the years that you may have paid into your UK state pensions. If you have a total of 15 years you can claim a Spanish pension (very small) for even one year of working in Spain. I know someone who gets small pensions from Spain, Italy and Switzerland on the basis of his UK contributions.

It might be worth looking at the UK Government state pension - voluntary contributions - it is a good deal if you reach pension age and manage to claim for a few years.

Loads of info on the web - ie
