PC with no signal ???????
 
Hi guys and gals

Right just found the PC and switched it on - not been used for over 12 months - its saying its not got a signal - whats that mean coz it making noises at me :confused:

Red light or green?
Check that the lead is connected from the screen to the base unit. If it is, give it a gentle wiggle at the base unit end. If it isn't, plug it in!!!

Green and flashing means it's getting power but no signal, but you know that anyway! Could mean that the video card has been dislodged, but you probably dont want to hear that!

I always get my brother to do remote assistance if I am stuck with something. Do you have anyone that can do that for you?

Tim dont know if there is a lead or not - what colour will it be - ive got a purple one a green one and a load of black ones :confused:
