I've lost faith in Royal Mail and is often little or no more to send by courier service these days.

We traced an incoming parcel to the correos office in Madrid. They were very efficient and sent us a detailed invoice for the import bill, with lots of handling and other charges.

Once we had paid up, the parcel arrived the next day.

My longest delayed parcel went via MALAYA as they misread Malaga!! España was included in the address but had been totally ignored. At least it arrived and my local post office thought it was hilarious.

Saturday BH received a letter from HMRC, it had a rubber stamp on it saying it had been processed in Malta. Only took 3 weeks to get here.

I have had them from Sweden!

so why can't the uk govt just send out letters direct instead of using overseas agent's ??

what state is Malta in financially?

what right have I given to allow the UK Govt send my personal mail to other jurisdictions for processing, even in a sealed envelope ??
