Default Palma De Gandia

Can anybody give me any information on Palma De Gandia. It was on A Place In The Sun today and it looked like a nice place. The property looks reasonably price and it seem's to suit our needs but before we head that way I was hoping to get some info from anybody that knows it.
Thanks in advance.

It all depends where abouts - it can appear quite industrial!

Parts of it are on the side of a mountain so you need sherpas to navigate the gardens.

Some of the properties do have nice views of the sea in the distance though.

Thanks for that snikpoh, the property on today had those distant views and seemed to be in the town. I wouldn't fancy being too close to the industrial bits.

I used to cycle through Palma de Gandia two or three times a week ... as you go oout to Villalonga there are a few "estates" up on the hil on the right. Palma itself isnt particularly pretty, if thats the kind of thing you are looking for ... have a look at Potries, slightly over to the East. No sea views though, but a nice little village and close to La Font den Carros where there are plenty of shops

Prices are all about location, location, location. So clearly, the location wasn't great. That said, there are a lot of very nice cheap properties in areas with low appeal to expats. But when you come to sell, well, you're the person who will have had it on the market for a year and a half, or three.

Unless you intend to die in it, make sure you have a good chance of selling it when you want to.
